By using SabiHire you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
What SabiHire is
SabiHire is a marketplace connecting Nigerian job seekers with employers. We are not an employer and not a recruitment agent. We don't hire anyone, we don't guarantee anyone a job, and we're not party to whatever you agree with an employer.
Your account
- Give accurate information, and keep it up to date
- Keep your password to yourself - you're responsible for what happens under your account
- One account per person
- You must be at least 16
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else got into your account
Rules for employers
These are the ones that get accounts closed. Do not post:
- Scam listings of any kind
- Commission-only marketing roles
- Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) schemes
- Any vacancy that asks candidates to pay money - for training, forms, uniforms, "registration", or anything else
- Roles that are illegal, or discriminate on grounds Nigerian law prohibits
- Vacancies for a company you have no authority to hire for
Breaking these rules leads to account closure with no refund.
Every vacancy is reviewed by a person before it appears publicly. We may reject or remove any listing, and we'll tell you why. Reviewing a listing is not us vouching for the employer.
Rules for job seekers
- Your profile and CV must be about you, and truthful
- Don't upload anyone else's documents or photographs
- Apply for roles you genuinely want
Your content
What you upload stays yours. By uploading it you allow us to store it and show it to the people the site is designed to show it to - the employers you apply to, and, if you switch on "let employers find me", employers searching for candidates.
You can delete your content at any time from your profile.
Paid plans
- Prices are shown on the pricing page in naira and include applicable taxes
- Plans run for the period you paid for and do not renew automatically
- Payments are taken by Paystack or Flutterwave - we never see your card details
- When a plan ends, the account returns to the free tier. Nothing you uploaded is deleted.
Refunds
- If we fail to deliver a feature you paid for, email us and we'll refund that period
- We don't refund because a vacancy didn't get applicants, or an application didn't get a reply - we sell access to the marketplace, not outcomes
- Accounts closed for breaking the employer rules above are not refunded
Things we don't promise
- That you'll get a job, or that you'll fill a role
- That every employer or candidate is exactly who they say they are - we verify what we reasonably can, and we investigate reports
- That the site is available without interruption
Use your judgement. Never pay anyone for a job. If an employer on SabiHire asks you for money, report it and we will act.
Ending things
You can close your account whenever you like - email us and we'll delete it. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless there's a legal reason not to.
Liability
SabiHire is provided as it is. To the extent Nigerian law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses arising from using the site - for example lost earnings from a job you didn't get, or a hire that didn't work out. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

These terms describe how SabiHire actually operates. They are not legal advice. Before launching commercially, have a Nigerian lawyer review them and add your registered business name, RC number and address.
